We have been researching maps of our local areas in Geography.
We learnt about aerial views and then drew maps of our school!
This term we have been learning about L. S. Lowry and looking at lots of his Art work.
We have created 3D paintings of our own in his style. Everyone has really enjoyed this work and were very proud of our results!
Following on from this Art work we used the style of Lowry to create 3D painting of Millom!
Autumn 1 overview
Wednesday 6th March.
Road Safety!
We have had a great workshop from Sarah learning all about keeping safe on the Roads. The children learnt lots and had great fun learning when, where and how to cross roads!
The children set up our class assembly and chose the prayers which they also read!
On World Book day we dressed up as book characters.
We had a great time reading and sharing lots of different books. We loved recommending our favourite stories to our friends and talked about what we liked and why.
In RE we have learnt about the story of Noah’s Ark. Here is our linked art work and our first try at collage!
