Parents Information

The School Day 

ARRIVING AT SCHOOL

Children use the following entrances and time slots:

• Reception, Year 1, 2, 3 and 4 use the Market Street gate at 8.45 – 9 am
• Year 5 and 6 use the Queen Street gate between 8.45 and 8.55am

Children enter the school building through the external classroom doors for each year group.

PLAYTIMES

• Reception, Year 1 and Year 2  - 10 – 10.15am
• Year 3 and 4 – 10.15 – 10.30am
• Year 5 and 6 – 10.30- 11am

LUNCHTIMES

• Reception

                      12 – 12.15pm – lunch in the hall

                      12.15 – 1pm – playtime

• Year 1 and 2

                       12 – 12.30pm – lunch in the hall

                        12.30 – 1pm - Playtime

• Year 3 and 4

                      12 – 12.30 -  Play time

                      12.30 – 12.45 – lunch in the hall.

                      12.45 – 1pm - Playtime

• Year 5 and 6

                     12.45 – 1pm – Lunch in the hall

                     1 – 1.30pm – playtime                         

ARRANGEMENTS FOR LEAVING SCHOOL AT THE END OF THE DAY

Children leave school from their classroom doors at 3.30pm and use the following gates:

• Reception, Year 1, 2, 3 and 4 – Market Street gate at 3.30pm
• Year 5 and 6 – Queen Street gate at 3.30pm

1. Children who stay to after school clubs should be collected from the main school entrance on Lonsdale Road at the appropriate time.
